Liang Yin was the famous scholar during the Yuan-Ming transition period. Both Jinglun and Shilun not only show his academic attitude, but also reflect his political ideas and historical thoughts. He regarded the three historical divisions as the best political periods. He commented on the history of the influential monarch and summed up the history of the rise and fall of success, all with special emphasis on the role of the ruler in the rise and fall of the political power.
