On July 18, Peru issued two new series of stamps and postmarks to celebrate the 45th anniversary of dip- lomatic ties between Peru and China. The first series features images of Bei- jing＇s Temple of Heaven and Peru＇sInca city of Machu Picchu, along with the words ＂Youyi＂ and ＂Khumpa＂, which mean friendship in Chinese and Quechua respectively.
