The plasticizer storm has raised concerns about food safety and also spread to the entire plastics enterprises of the food contact materials, but not all plastic products contain plasticizers. The possible source of plasticizer and the correct use of plasticizer in the premise of not causing food safety are expounded through the new standards of food safety related to plastics, which are recently implemented or will be put into practice.
