In the inclined drifts with large slope, multiple scraper conveyors could be used for transportation. To realize the safe and efficient lifting of gangue, it is necessary to install a video monitoring system for the scraper conveyor. The paper introduces the composition and function of the system. The practice showed that the system could effectively implement real-time monitoring on the equipment start-stop and operation situation, reduce manpower cost, and improve the security safeguarding capability.
