商周时期的“戎”及其流变

The “Rong” and its evolution during the Shang and Zhou dynasties

商周时期的"戎"是一个指向明确的民族,但是作为民族名称的"戎"却经历了一个民族名称由具体到泛化的历史过程,渐渐被华夏族和后来汉族的历史学家当作区域性的民族名称,称为"西戎",泛指中国西部的各民族;而商周时期作为一个民族的"戎",因为他们的分布区也是华夏族的核心分布区,所以在历史的发展中最后融入华夏族,但"戎"非"西戎"。

The＂Rong＂was a specific ethnic group during the Shang and Zhou dynasties.However,its use as a name referring to an ethnic group experienced a historical process from a specific term to a general term which was gradually accepted as a regional group called＂Western Rong＂by Huaxia and the later Han historians,referring to various ethnic groups in western China.＂Rong＂,an ethnic group during the Shang and Zhou dynasties,finally integrated into the Huaxia people in their development because their distribution area was also the core area of the Huaxia people,but＂Rong＂is not＂Western Rong＂.
