翁方纲诗歌“以考据入诗”辨--兼论“事境”说

A Discussin of Taking Textual Research as a Way of Poetic Writing in Weng Fanggang's Works and Concurrently on the Circumstance Theory

袁枚、洪亮吉对翁方纲诗歌"以考据入诗"的评价最具代表性。他们的评论集矢于"琐碎零星",重赋而轻比兴,钞书之嫌以及缺乏性情。翁方纲诗歌的这些缺陷,虽然或多或少呈现出与考据的关系,但根本原因是翁方纲对"事"的过分铺排,并强调诗歌解读的唯一性。他作诗"取境"不择,"事"与"情"在篇幅和创作方式上迥异,使得"事境"说在创作实践中变成了只求"事",最终未能实现对"境"的追求。

Yuan Mei and Hong Liang-ji＇s criticism of Weng Fang-gang for his taking textual research as a way of poetic writing , focused on trivial details,placing more weight on exposition than on comparison and affective image,copying and a shortage of temperament, has been considered to be the most representative evaluation. Though these defects in Weng Fang-gang＇s poems are more or less related to his textual research,the basic reason is that there are too many expositions of things in his poetic works and that he stressed the uniqueness of poetry interpretation.In Weng＇s poetry writing,he did not make a choice of view- finding and his exposition part was not in keeping with the temperament part in which resulted in the fact that the circumstance theory in real writing was space and way of writing, turned into seeking only exvosition of things and failed to achieve the pursuit of the circumstance in the final end.
