Social construction of the "Desert" definition-A case study of the “Desert” development demonstration area of Engebei

本论文从环境社会学的视角,聚焦参与绿化开发内蒙古恩格贝沙漠产业开发示范区的不同社会主体,分析这些不同社会主体对恩格贝环境认识上形成的不同观点,最终指明"沙漠"不仅是表现自然现象的环境用语,而且含有文化意味、经济意味。

From the perspective of environmental sociology, this paper focuses on the different social subjects involved in greening and developing the Demonstration Area of Engebei Desert Industry in Inner Mongolia, analyzes the different viewpoints of these social subjects on Engelberg＇s environment and finally points out the concept of＂desert＂ is not only the environmental term of natural phenomena, but also is social term containing cultural, economic and political meaning.
