3D Sketch Extraction and Mixed Modeling Based on Geomagic Studio

摘要 目前,逆向工程技术已广泛应用于产品的复制、仿制、改进和创新设计,是消化吸收先进技术和缩短产品设计开发周期的重要技术手段。对逆向工程中现有的曲面重建方法进行了研究,提出一种基于3D草图提取与混合建模的曲面重建新思路。3D草图由截面曲线、边界曲线和特征曲线组成,包含了原始设计意图和详细的曲面重建信息。以Geomagic studio软件为平台,提取了3D草图,然后将3D草图交换至Solid Works中进行正向的参数化曲面重建,为基于逆向工程的复杂曲面重建和再设计提供了一种新的途径。 At present,reverse engineering technology has been widely used in the production's copy,imitation,improvement and innovative design,which is an important technical means for the digestion and absorption of advanced technology and shorten the product design and development cycle. Based on the study of existing surface reconstruction methods in reverse engineering,a surface reconstruction method based on the 3D sketch extraction and mixed modeling is proposed. 3D sketch is composed of cross section curves,boundary curves and characteristic curve,which contains detailed design intent and information on surface reconstruction. Used Geomagic studio software as a platform,the 3D sketch is extracted,then exchanged to solidWorks for parametric surface reconstruction,which provides a new way for the surface reconstruction and innovative design of the product.
