当前中国人口老龄化日趋严重,家庭养老作为农村养老的主要形式,离不开孝文化的理论支撑。随着父权在农村家庭中的绝对权威被打破,家庭权力结构由父子主轴走向夫妻主轴;家庭中个人意识的崛起,又动摇了农村传统孝文化的根基。在农村传统孝文化日渐衰落的情况下,需要借助教育和法律对孝文化进行支持,并促进家庭代际关系平衡,借用乡风民约来引导公众尊老、敬老等,加强村民对现代孝文化的认可。
