Education idea is an important content of comprehensive reform in vocational colleges. This paper explains the background and the main contents of four - dimensional education idea of morality education, literacy education, di- verse education and open education. In view of the current reform in vocational colleges, the four - dimensional education idea need to be implemented, the route options of comprehensive reform in vocational colleges promoted, and the decision reference for the reform and development of vocational colleges provided.
