边境旅游研究应建立在坚实的理论基础之上,克服主观臆断等不良倾向。根据边境旅游的内涵,边境优势论、边缘效应理论、国家边界理论应被视为边境旅游研究的重要理论基础。陆地边境具有独特的区位优势、政策优势和后发优势,已成为旅游经济发展的宝贵资源和新增长点。边境旅游应坚持与边贸、文化、城乡建设融合发展,提升口岸城镇的旅游功能,实现边界景观的国家认同价值;充分发挥边缘的正向效应,创造性转化负向效应,妥善处理与中心地区的关系;正视边境旅游的政治敏感性,防控旅游活动对边境安全造成的风险,深化推进国际旅游合作。

This paper discusses that border tourism research would be formed on a solid theoretical basis to overcome the subjective assumptions and other negative tendencies. According to the connotation of border tourism, Border Advantage Theory, Edge effect theory and State Boundary Theory are important theoretical bases of border tourism research. Due to its unique geographical advantages, policy advantages and late-mover advantage, the land border has become a valuable resource and a new growing point for the development of tourism economy. Border tourism development,firstly,insists on the integrative development with border trade,culture,and urban-rural construction to enhance the tourism function of port cities and towns and to achieve the national identity value of border landscape.Secondly, make full use of the positive effects of the edge, creatively transform the negative effects, and properly handle the relationship with inland.Thirdly, face up to the political sensitivity of border tourism, prevent and control the risks of border security activities, and deenen the nromotion of international tourism cooperation.
