受日本福岛核事故影响,世界核电复苏步伐有所放缓,但总体趋势未发生变化。截至2017年8月,全世界31个国家拥有447个核电机组,总装机容量超过390 GW,另有超过60个核电机组正在建设中,计划建造的则超过160个。世界核协会长期跟踪并定期发布世界核能发展各领域相关动向,本文主要依据其发布的数据,对世界核电发展现状进行概述。

Although affected by Fukushima accident, the trend of the global nuclear reviving process maintains. By August 2017, there are over 440 commercial nuclear power reactors in operation in 31 countries, with over 390 000 MWe of total capacity. About 60 more reactors are under construction, over 160 planned. According to the data from World Nuclear Association, the status of the world nuclear power development is briefed.
