Estimation of Chinese Aggregate Production Function

CES生产函数的经典估计程式奠基于较为严格的基础假设,现实经济未必满足。为迎合相关假设,文章考虑采用数据包络分析(DEA)方法估算有效产出及相应的要素影子价格,进而利用生产者均衡条件估计CES生产函数的具体形式。实证分析表明,该种程式不仅具有现实可行性,且有其独特的应用价值。

The CES production function estimation program is based on some strict basic assumptions, but real economy may not meet it. In order to cater the related hypothesis, this paper considers using the data envelopment analysis （DEA） method to estimate the effective output and the corresponding shadow prices of production factors, and then employs the producer equilibrium conditions to estimate the specific form of CES production function. The empirical analysis shows that the proposed program is not only feasible, but also has its unique application value.
