《围城》生态文化负载词翻译中的译者主体性

The Translator's Subjectivity in Ecological Culture-loaded Words in Fortress Besieged

《围城》以其幽默、机敏的语言受到中西方文学界的大力推崇,其英译本也成为了广大翻译研究者的研究阵地。然而,鲜少有研究者从译者主体性角度探究其中大量的生态文化负载词翻译。本文从译者意图、文化意识与译者创造性对《围城》中的生态文化负载词翻译进行讨论,认为译者应当充分发挥其主体性选择恰当的翻译方法与策略,弘扬传统文化,促进与世界各国的文化交流。

Fortress Besieged is highly praised by the Chinese and Western literary circles for its humorous and intelligent language. Its English version has become the research positions of translation researchers. However, few researchers have explored the translation of numerous ecological culture-loaded words from the perspective of translator＇s subjectivity. In this paper, the translation of ecological culture-loaded words in Fortress Besieged was discussed from the perspective of intention of the translator, the translator＇s creativity and cultural consciousness. It concludes that the translator should give full play to the subjectivity in the selection of appropriate translation methods and strategies, to promote traditional culture and cultural exchanges with other countries in the world.
