摘要
《道德经》是中国古典哲学范畴的经典著作,集中体现道家思想,语言与思想独树一帜。《道德经》已有上千部中文注疏与评论,在西方英译本超百本。通过文化传播模因论视角,研究《道德经》哲学思想,对比分析辜正坤、刘殿爵、理雅各和亚瑟韦利的译本,并通过《道德经》在英语世界的译介研究,探讨中国文学走出去策略,促进中国典籍翻译的有效文化传播。
As one of the typical Chinese philosophical and classical works, Tao Te Ching reflects the central ideology of Taoism with unique linguistic features. The number of its English translation works is more than one hundred and that of its Chinese notes and commentaries is far more than one thousand. By adopting the theory of translation memetics, the philosophical characteristic of Tao Te Ching was discussed in this paper. Several key idea and main sentences from four translated works by Prof. Gu Zhengkun, Liu Dianjue,James Legge and Arthur Waley were analyzed so as to search for effective translation methods as well as effective promotion strategies for Chinese classical literary masterpieces,
