Taking a motorcycle model as the example, the paper illustrates the research on comprehensive appraising method for the structure characteristics of motorcycle body with CAE analysis technology. It includes the analysis and appraisal on the modal, strength, stiffness, and light weight, the setting of loading and restrain system etc. of the motorcycle and the appraising index and the reasonable range etc., providing the reference for the RD of bodies.
