By the end of 2015, there had been 21 translated versions of Dream or＂ the Red Chamber in 166 copies available in different libraries around the world. Among the 64 countries along ＂the Belt and Road＂, there are more than 40 countries that have no translation of the book.As China is trying to become more culturally powerful, to translate the book into more foreign languages so as to reach more people has become a new mission in China＇s cultural communication with the rest of the world.
