该草图绘制于方案概念设计阶段,设计构思采用传统＂天圆地方＂的东方传统哲学理念,用简约纯粹的几何构图形式突出文化圣殿的形象。方形的建筑基座与穹顶相结合,基座和穹顶通过玻璃天窗过渡,阳光可洒落在墙面和地面上。基座外围设置方形水池,建筑倒影在水池上,典雅而庄重。建筑四周采用拱券单元组合,56个优雅、隽秀的花瓣形拱券整齐排列布置,既有当地民族风格,又寓意着中华56个民族的团结。穹顶部分采用花瓣镂空,与基座花瓣相呼应。

This sketch was drawn during the concept design stage of the project. The design adapted the traditional oriental philosophic concept of ＂Round Sky Square Earth＂, and used simple and pure geometry composition form to emphasize the figure of the holy palace. The square shaped foundation is combined with the dome, with glass sky windows in between, and sunlight pouring on the walls and floors.
