A service restoration expert system software for local distribution networks is designed.A logical and secure restoration scheme after system faults can be provided by the software.The whole frame,essential function,expert system principle and the program flow diagrom of the software is gives in the paper.The software is programed with the language Vc ++ .The practicality of the software is verified by the field test results.
