Using the SWOT method,the paper analyses conditions in-depth for university library participating in the atmospheric environment governance,points out that the main strategies of university library participating in atmospheric environmental governance:relying on the information platform of university library,boosting environmental work;strengthening the support of science and technology;building of university library think-tank,structuring or joining the regional library alliance,achieving value-added of high efficiency and high speed on universities information resources;according to the scientific plan of the environmental protection department,providing personalized,collaborative,innovative,deep value-added information services;creating information sharing platform,providing effective information service for atmospheric pollution control and zone from spreading,promoting the further development of university library information service.
