Ningbo Fenglin Green Energy Co. Ltd. is one of the largest waste incineration power generating plants already put in operation in this country. It has three imported incineration furnaces of the German NOELL\|KRC Co, equipped with pusher type grates, each able of handling 350 tons of waste per day. Since commissioning, the waste handling capacity and the incineration quality have all attained design objectives, meeting national environment protection standards. The paper presents an introduction to the structural features of the incineration furnaces and a report on their operational behavior. Figs 3 and table 1
