It aims to analyze the influence factors： the geographical and climatic conditions, the cultural customs, and the historical culture of Fuzhou bodiless lacquerware. The features of pattern and meaning design of laequerware is ex- plored and the connotation of products is strengthened with design methods and means. Constantly exploring new skills, new materials, new technologies and new ideas is bound to promote a new round of innovation in the design of lacquerware and the development and continuation of new lacquer crafts with a new image.
