Cause and Influence of Japanese Military Advisers to China in Modern Times

本文以甲午战争后中日强弱关系的转换为背景 ,中日两国出于不同的目的 ,促成了近代以来大批日本顾问来华。日本顾问来华 ,对中国军事改革、军队建设有一定的积极作用 ;而对日本扩张在华势力 ,推进大陆政策、发动侵略战争的作用则是巨大的。

The dissertation keeps the changes of powerful position between China and Japan after the 1894-1895 War in the background, After the war large numbers of Japanese advisers came to China owing to different purposes of China and Japan. There was a certain positive factor for Chinese military reform and army building, however, it exerted great influence on the expanding Japanese forces in China, pushing forward Japanese 'Continent Policy', and the launching aggression.
