《坎特伯雷故事》是一部具有代表性与颠覆性的狂欢化诗体故事集,主要讲述一群香客在前往坎特伯雷城完成朝圣的途中所讲述的奇异故事。正是因为这批香客来自于社会中的不同阶层,诸如工匠、大学生、修女、武士、教士等,所以,他们讲述的故事在以讽刺与幽默作为基调的同时,通过刻画不同社会阶层的人物,彰显当时的社会习俗与风貌。由喜剧场面形成的各色故事,既符合每位讲述人的身份,也能体现十四世纪英国的人文主义思想与反封建倾向思想。而其中人文主义思想与狂欢化诗学提倡的精神相吻合。本文从狂欢节的笑、广场上的狂欢与语言上的狂欢进行分析,探索了《坎特伯雷故事》的狂欢特征。

The Canterbury Tales is a representative about a group of pilgrims in the strange story of the and subversive Carnival poetic stories, it is mainly way to Canterbury city to from different people. It is because this group of pilgrims who is from different sectors of society, such as artisans, students, nuns, priests, warriors, their stories in satire and humor as image at the same time, through the characterization of different social strata characters, it highlights the social customs and style at that time. All kinds of stories, which are formed by the comedy scene, it is not only accord with the identity of each narrator, but also embody the thoughts of humanism and anti feudalism in the Fourteenth Century in the England, humanism and the spirit of Carnival poetics is similar. In this paper, the carnival, the carnival in the square and the carnival in the lan- guage are analyzed to explore the Carnival features of ＂The Canterbury Tales＂.
