Nanjing Municipal Museum has a collection of three epitaphs of early Ming dynasty generals named Qiu Li, Zhang Heng and Lu Zhong. Their content involves the history of one famous general Tang He, who had patroled along the southeast coast, rectifying the maritime defense to resist the Japanese pirates in the 17th year of the reign of Emperor Hongwu. The epitaphs' content also has certain value to the clarification of the family history of Ming Dynasty's founding general Qiu Guang and Zhang Dai, as well as the general inheriting system during the early reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty.
