清代前期广东水师巡洋会哨章程述论

Brief Study of the Guangdong Naval Command＇s Coastal Patrol Force during the Early Qing Dynasty

从1683年广东水师着手建立巡洋制度开始，到1840年第一次中英鸦片战争爆发为止，广东水师的巡洋制度经历了157年的演变。总的来说，巡洋会哨制度日趋严密，不仅明确划分了各个水师镇、协、营的管辖范围，而且严格规定了统巡、总巡、分巡、协巡人员的职责，还周密安排了会哨的时间、地点和方法。

The coastal patrol system lasted for 157 years, from the foundation of the Guangdong Naval Command in 1683 until the Opium War between China and Britain in the 1840s. On the whole, the system became increasingly institutionalized over time in terms of specialization of functions, personnel, and management. Sophisticated methods were developed to arrange for the times, locations, and methods for the patrols to meet.
