Food safety is one of the most important things for people＇s lives. With the increasing of food safety problems in recent years, food inspection and testing institutes as the technical support of food safety supervision are facing significant challenges. Contract review is the first part in inspecting mission and one of the important means of risk control of food inspection and testing institutes. Setting up and implementing contract review are an effective measure to improve the inspection level of food inspection and testing institutes. This paper mainly analyzed how to set up and implement high level contract review from the aspects of the type task of government commissioned, contract review procedures, risk control, and personnel quality requirements, etc. It can provide references for the food inspection and testing institutes to provide high quality inspection services.
