蔡元培“教育独立议”新论

A New Discussion on Cai Yuanpei's "Educational Independence

“教育独立”是蔡元培一个很重要的教育思想。从教育发展的角度看 ,绝对的教育独立不存在 ,但教育有相对独立性 ,有其内在的规律性。蔡元培的“教育独立”思想虽有历史局限性 ,但对我国进行教育体制改革 ,推行教育民主 ,保证教育科学、有效地发展有重要启示。

The independence of education' is one of Cai Yuanpei's important thoughts. From the perspective the educational development, there exists not absolute educational independence, but there indeed exists the relative educational independence with innate laws. Although Cai yuanpei's thought of 'educational independence' has its own limitations, it still throws light on China's reform of educational system, on the practice of educational democracy, on the guarantee of scientific education, and on the efficient development of education.
