摘要 20世纪30年代,"摩登女郎"开始大量涌现,成为上海都市文化的符码之一。各类报刊刊载了数十篇关于"摩登女郎"的讨论文章,几乎众口一词地对其大加贬斥。而"摩登女性"是一个立体多维的概念体系,其形成原因并非30年代社会媒介所以为的"来源于英文modern的音译"这般简单,而是充满了丰盈复杂的内涵和外延,很有可能受到日本"摩登女"概念的影响。这数十篇文章,从家庭职能、传统妇德、两性关系、国民责任等方面展开对摩登女性的声讨和规训,发表各自对于理想的、"真正的"摩登女性的想象与期待。然而摩登女性的概念和实际状况都是复杂难言的,社会媒介对她们的期待和要求带有许多虚构成分,摩登女性自身则在社会媒介众声喧哗的裹挟下,近于湮没无声。 In the 1930s, "modern women" began to emerge in large numbers, becoming one of the symbols of Shanghai's urban culture. Dozens of articles on" modern women" were published in various newspapers, and almost everyone disparaged the" modem girl". The concept of" modern" is a very complex system, not just in the 30s' media as it" is derived from the English transliteration of modern" literally, and as there is likely an impact of the concept of" modem woman" originated in Japan. The concept of" modem women" should be multi -dimensional, full of complex connotation and extension. These articles that were devoted to the imagination and expectation of the ideal" real" modem woman, did their best by involving different dimensions, from the family functions, traditional women's morality, the relationship between the two sexes, the national responsibilities and other aspects of the claim and imagination of modern women. The media had a lot of fictions about their expectations and demands. Modern women themselves were almost drowned out by the noise of the media.
