文化是社会存在的理性反映、是物质和精神的总和。改革开放以来,我国经济取得了举世瞩目的成就、跃居世界第二大经济体。工业化进程的快速发展推动我国今天进入社会转型期。物质条件的显著改善要求作为物质和精神总和的文化建设也必须随之协调发展。当前,与快速发展的经济建设相比,我国文化建设相对滞后,农村基层文化建设更是严重落后,我们要以社会主义核心价值观为引领,加快转型期的农村基层文化建设。

Culture is a rational reflection of social existence, as well as a sum of material and spiritual condensation. Since the reform and open policy, Chinese economy has obtained remarkable achievements. Promoted by the economic and social development, our country has entered the period of social transition today. The progress of the development of material civilization and spiritual culture should be coordinated. At present, compared with the rapid development of economic construction, our rural grassroots culture construction is badly lagging behind. We should speed up the transformation of rural grassroots cultural construction guided by socialist core values.
