敦煌作为甘肃华夏文明传承创新区建设的突破口和示范点,作为"丝绸之路经济带"的咽喉要道和商埠重地,以及每年一次丝绸之路国际文化博览会的举办要地,建设无规定动物疫病示范区,切实提高动物及动物产品安全保障水平,对充分发挥其战略支点、展示开放形象的窗口和促进东西方文化交流、带动我国中西部乃至世界经济文化发展,具有非常重要的引擎作用。作者就建立酒泉敦煌核心区无规定动物疫病示范区可行性和必要性进行了研究,仅供同行参考。

Dunhuang is an important place for Chinese civilization and modern cultural exchanges. Construction of specified animal epidemic free area has important significance to ensure the safety of animal products and promote the cultural exchanges between the East and the West. The author has studied the feasibility and necessity of establishing an animal disease demonstra- tion area in the core area of Jiuquan,Dunhuang.
