摘要
中风,又称卒中,是一种严重威胁人类健康的脑血管疾病。本文从疾病命名的角度探讨了中西医学对中风的认识过程。中西医学对中风的研究都有着悠久的历史,其疾病名称也经历了各自的变化过程,中医经历了从"风邪"到"中风",再到"卒中"的过程,西医则经历了从"apoplexy"到"cerebrovascular disease/accident",再到"stroke"的变化。中风病名的演变反映出中西医学对同一疾病的不同认识路径,以及对同一疾病的不断深入的认识过程,同时也体现出中西医学各自的特点和相互之间的影响。
Stroke （Zhong Feng）, also known as Cu Zhong, is a kind of cerebrovascular disease, greatly threatening human health. This paper compared the research process of stroke between Chinese and Western medicine from the perspective of changing process of disease name. Both Chinese and Western medicine studied stroke for centuries, and the name of stroke changed with medical development. In traditional Chinese medicine, the disease＇s name changed from ＂Feng evil＂ ＂Zhong Feng＂, to ＂Cu Zhong＂. While in Western medicine, it changed from ＂apoplexy＂ ＂cerebrovascular disease/ accident＂, to ＂stroke＂. The changing process reflected not only the increasingly deep understanding of the disease from a different perspective between Chinese and western medicine, but also the characteristics of Chinese and western medicine and their interaction.
