文化自信是一个民族主体对于自身精神的确证,是关乎这个民族未来发展的。文化自信的重要性体现在,文化自信成为考量中华民族主体自身根源的重要因素之一,中华民族维系几千年是中国文化强大生命力的表现。从文化自信的历史面向与现实面向而言,文化自信要联系中国文化自身的独特性与根源性,即中国文化是生命有机体的文化,这种文化的特性不同于西方,构成文化自信的历史面向;文化自信还要有现实面向,文化自信离不开主体的培养,这是与马克思主义中国化相互融合在一起的,必须坚持马克思主义为指导并融汇各种思潮是文化自信的现实面向。

Cultural self-confidence identifies with a nation as subject of its self-spirit,which is of great significance to the development of the future.Cultural self-confidence constitutes one of the factors for the evaluation of the root of China as the subject.That China as one nation has developed for hundreds of years is the proof to the vitality of Chinese culture.There are dual facets in cultural self-confidence,one is the historical facet,because of its organic life rooted in the traditional culture which is particular and different from Western culture;the other is the actual facet which needs the cultivation of its subject and which must be guided by Marxism and be combined with other trends of thoughts.
