根纳季·艾基出生于图瓦什共和国,是俄罗斯著名的诗人和翻译家,1960—1970年代俄罗斯先锋派艺术的领军人物之一。一生曾多次获得诺贝尔文学奖提名和国内外诗歌奖项,但却是20世纪俄罗斯最具特色、最矛盾和最有争议的诗人。而所有这些特性都来自于诗人在诗歌语言和诗歌形式方面的探索:一方面,诗人完成了俄语诗歌从节律诗向自由诗的过渡,代表了先锋派的特点;另一方面,艾基诗歌充满哲学意味,常常出现成对的相对照命题,并且在令人迷惑的东方色调和不可思议的西方平实之间达到了一种平衡;此外,其诗歌充满抽象的隐喻、叠加的意向,晦涩而优美,具有很高的艺术价值。

Gennady Aygi born in the Republic of Tuva,is a famous Russian poet and translator,and one of the leading figures of the Russian avant-garde art during 1960-1970.He has for many times won Nobel Prize nominations and domestic and international awards.Nevertheless he is also the most characteristic,the most contradictory and the most controversial poet in the 20 th century,all of which come from the poet＇s poetic language and his poetry exploration：on the one hand,the poet completed the transition of Russian poetry from rhythmic poem to free poem,which was the representative of the characteristics of avant-garde.on the other hand,the poems by Aygi full of philosophical meaning,filled with paired relative propositions,and reaching a balance between the puzzling oriental tones and the incredible western plain.The last but not the least,the poems,filled with abstract metaphors,superimposed intentions,obscure but beauty,have a high artistic value.
