夏道平经济思路的演进及其原因

The Evolution and Causes of Xia daoping's Economic Thought

大陆赴台学人夏道平以主张自由经济而闻名,但其走上自由经济的思路却有一个曲折的过程。早年在武汉大学经济学系求学时,夏道平就已了解到自由经济,不过毕业后不仅没有继续追随这种思路,相反主张对自由经济进行相当的修正。赴台后任《自由中国》主笔期间,转而揭橥奥地利学派,转向自由经济。《自由中国》被迫停刊后,通过潜心译介奥地利学派等得以深入探索自由经济。这种经济思路演进的原因,固然有个人的努力和自由中国社学人的影响,但更重要的是时代环境的变化和奥地利学派的给养。

Xia daoping, who went to Taiwan from Chinese mainland in 1949, was famous for proposing free economy. However, it was a tortuous process for him to guarantee the thought of free economy. When he was studying in the department of economics in Wuhan University, Xia daoping has learned about the free economy. Instead of keeping following the train of this thought after his graduation, he insisted that the free economy should be considerably amended. During being the chief editor of the journal of Free China, Xia daoping started to advocate the Austrian school and turned to insist on the free economy. After the journal of Free China was forced to shut down, Xia daoping translated some works of the Austrian school and got a further exploration of the free economy. The cause of this evolution could be attributed to his individual effort and the influence of the colleagues of Free China Society. What＇ s more important, it could be due to the changing of era environment and the provisions of the Austrian school.
