十月革命道路,就是以马克思列宁主义为行动指南、以共产主义为奋斗目标、以无产阶级和广大人民群众为根本依靠、以无产阶级政党为领导核心的无产阶级革命和无产阶级专政的道路。十月革命后不久,中国的先进分子就迅速做出了走十月革命道路的选择,中国的新民主主义和社会主义革命道路都是对十月革命道路的创造性坚持和发展。从20世纪50年代中期开始,苏共领导集团逐步背叛了十月革命原则,党和国家开始变质变色,最终发生了制度颠覆和国家分裂的悲剧。在国际风云变幻和世界社会主义运动出现严重曲折之际,中国共产党带领中国人民继续创造性地继承和发展十月革命经验,根据中国具体国情和时代特征,成功开创并不断拓宽中国特色社会主义道路,引领当代中国日益繁荣富强。
