＂5E＂ Instruetional Model is a kind of advanced teaching system based on constructivism theory and conceptual change theory. This paper introduced the basic aspects and connotation of ＂5E＂ Instruetional Model, and combined with the characteristics of molecular pharmacognosy curriculum, the application value of ＂ 5E＂ Instruetional Model in improving students＂ learning interest, laying a solid foundation for actual use and cultivating the practical ability of students were discussed. In practice, the appropriate use of ＂5E＂ Instruetional Model could be helpful for implementation of objectives of molecular pharmacognosy curriculum, meanwhile, improving the students＂ interest and learning enthusiasm on this subject.
