Regression Test of Threshold Panel of Poverty Alleviation Effect of Economic Development Mode

文章选取1997—2015年的相关数据,运用面板门槛回归模型研究经济发展方式与贫困减缓之间的关系。研究结果表明,经济发展方式对贫困减缓存在双重门槛效应。以经济发展水平为门槛变量,经济发展方式对贫困减缓产生积极的影响,且经济发展水平越高,经济发展方式对贫困减缓的作用越明显,呈梯度渐进增强趋势;以经济发展方式转变程度为门槛变量,经济发展方式对贫困减缓产生显著的正面效应,呈现出先下降后上升的特征。

This paper selects the relevant data from 1997 to 2015, and uses the panel threshold regression model to study the relationship between economic development mode and poverty alleviation. The study result shows that the economic development mode has a double threshold effect on poverty alleviation; taking economic development level as the threshold variable, economic development mode positively affects poverty alleviation; the higher the level of economic development, the more obvious the effect of the economic development mode on poverty alleviation, which varies in a gradient enhancement trend; taking the change of economic development as the threshold variable, the economic development mode has a significant positive effect on poverty alleviation, which is characterized by rise after descent.
