The study of the development path and historical dimension of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities must adhere to the development theme of Marxist Chinesization, which is divided into four stages--difficuh exploration period, adjustment and recovery period, consolidation and development period and upgrading connotation period. These not only represent the distinct characteristics of the times, but also indicate the important value of reality. Under the historical experience, we must uphold the guiding position of Marxism for the reality development of the ideological and political theory course in colleges and univeristies. As the latest theoretical achievement on Marxist Chinesization, XiJinping＇s concept of governing the country is a directive guidance and leading role of reform and innovation of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.
