《立报》是著名报人成舍我创办的小型报,创刊初期,就因其以人为本的办报宗旨、精编主义的编辑排版、严管有道的经营管理和抗日救亡的政治倾向销量超过十万,成为可与上海《申报》等老牌大报抗衡的小型报,被认为是中国新闻史上小报大办的翘楚。

Lih Pao is a tabloid founded by famous editor Cheng Shewo. The sales of the newspaper amounted to over one hundred thousand at the beginning, due to the human-based principle, fine edition and type-setting, flexible management and the political tendency of anti-Japanese. Lih Pao becomes a famous newspaper which can compete with established newspaper, such as Shen Pao, at el. Lih Pao is considered as the leader in all tabloid in the news history of China.
