莫言小说《檀香刑》作为一次尝试,将民间故事与历史事件融为一体,在人物的多声部对话与人物的主体性交织中形成了一种复调性。通过《檀香刑》,莫言的创作回归到人的本真状态,以身体言说将小说与历史和记忆重合,用肉体与欲望传达了自由的力量与悲悯的意蕴,透视了民族精神与国民灵魂,传达了身体在文学中的本体性,用狂欢化和仪式化的情节与场景对权力的颠覆,淡化了知识分子的启蒙主义最终返回民间立场。
