新工科培养的工程科技人才应具有经济决策能力

Engineering Talents in Emerging Engineering Education Calling for Economic Decision-making Competence

当前,在"双创"和新一代信息技术的引领下,新产品、新服务、新产业、新业态层出不穷,对工程科技人才需求日益旺盛,进而对工程教育提出了新要求,期望高校通过新工科建设为社会培养复合型跨界人才。本文从经济社会发展和企业需求出发,结合当前我国高校工程教育现状,深刻剖析在技术创新和新产品研发过程中经济决策能力的内涵,详细阐述了培养经济决策能力的重要意义,明确经济决策能力是新工科培养的工程科技人才的应有能力,提出了一种将技术知识与经济决策知识相融合的方法论、并通过内外部质量评价体系持续改进并优化的经济决策能力培养机制,以期为相关院校工程专业建设提供参考。

Propelled by the initiative of Mass EntrepreneurshipInnovation and the new generation of information technology,the demand for qualified engineering talents is growing as the new products,services,and industries emerge,bringing new requirements to engineering education in colleges and universities so as to create more interdisciplinary talents for the society through Emerging Engineering Education construction.Taking economic development and the requirement of enteripses into account,the present study investigates the connotation of economic decision-making competence towards the technical innovating process and researchdevelopment for new products and expounds the significance of cultivating it.Such competence is claimed to be a must for engineering talents in cultivated in Emerging Engineering Education,with methodologies for integrating technical knowledge and economic decision-making know-how and a scheme for optimizing economic decision-making competence through internal and external quality assessment system proposed,expecting to give reference to relevant colleges in their engineering specialty development.
