肉体狂欢:作为反思“文革”的一种策略——评王安忆小说《岗上的世纪》

Sensual Indulgence as a Strategy to Rethink "the Cultural Revolution":A Review of Wang Anyi's Century in a Hill

王安忆小说《岗上的世纪》以"文革"为背景,讲述了下乡女知青与村干部的性爱故事。女知青用美色贿赂村干部,虽没能如愿返城,却充当了村干部的救赎者,两个人在失去了现实利益之后,在"性"上达到了和谐极乐。不顾一切的纵欲源于对现世悲观失望之后的虚无,也是对精神无所皈依的无奈逃避。小说渲染肉体狂欢和女性身体之美,呼唤个人性情和原始生命体验,以抵抗国家主义和暴力革命,反抗"文革",救赎罪恶。然而,对性爱的突出一方面是批判了"文革";另一方面消解了历史和政治,失去了反思"文革"的能力,在不经意间暗合了改革开放的时代需求。

Wang Anyi＇s novel Century in a Hill under the background of the Cultural Revolution （1966-1976） represents a love story between a female educated youth named Li Xiaoqin and a village cadre named Yang Xuguo. Li seduced Yangwith a view of getting a chance to return back to city. But she failed to achieve her goal. However, she, as a savior, helped Yang get new life. After their loss of realistic benefits, they did enjoy sexual pleasures. Their venturous indulgence in sensual pleasures resulted from the nihility after their despair of then life and helpless escape after their hopeless spiritual conversion. The novel takes sensual indulgence and femalebody beauty to highlight individual temperament and original life experience for the purpose of rebelling against the Cultural Revolution and doing redemption for their sins. But its erotic description, on the one hand, criticizes the Cultural Revolution, on the other loses political and historical horizon so that the novelcan notdeeply rethink the Cultural Revolution. To some extent, the novel caters for new age＇s political and economic demand.
