新闻活动属于一种隐喻认知框架下的交流,通过对现实世界识别、构建与理解,确立活动内容与方式:新闻是对现实世界的一种强调性识别,事实的意义就是"选择它表达意义",隐喻塑造新闻意义的相对性,关注普遍性主题或原则;新闻通过隐喻系统来构建认知框架,此物与彼物、结构与强调、生发与传染、部分与整体,影响着传播者的价值判断;新闻在互动交流的过程中建构理解,新闻话语符号既能为受众提供身份认同,又能为当下提供合法化身份,是一种"意象景观"。

The news lays emphasis on the recognition of present world. The meaning of facts exists in that we choose facts to bear importance. Metaphor shapes the relativity of importance and pays attention to universal principles and subjects. The news sets up the frame of recognition including the relation between this and that,framework and highlight,occurrence and contagion,part and whole,to influence the value judgment of spreader. The news takes understanding into shape through interactive communication.
