In the assembly process of U-shaped base plates of a certain plate spring,batch cracking phenomena were appeared. It had a significant impact on the automobile manufacturing and automobile driving safety. Through analysis,the root causes of the cracking were determined,corresponding improvement measures were put forward. Then the cracking problem is solved,eliminating the recurrence of similar problems.
