基于VMware的图书馆服务器虚拟化应用

摘要 近年来,许多图书馆在对馆内软硬件设施进行升级改造的过程中,应用了越来越多的系统及智能化设备,极大地提高了图书馆的工作效率和服务水平,但同时也给后台服务器及存储设备增加巨大的压力。为了解决这些问题,引进VMware vSphere 5.5虚拟化系统,实现对中心机房服务器的虚拟化也成为许多图书馆的选择。以山东师范大学图书馆服务器虚拟化的应用为例,分析总结了虚拟化平台应用中的一些经验和体会,提出了快照管理、安全防护、断电处理等方面的合理建议。 In recent years, more and more intelligent systems are applied in the process of upgrading the library facilities, which improve the work efficiency and service level of the libraries greatly, but also put ahuge pressures on back-end servers and storage devices. In order to solve these problems, it becomes a choice of many libraries to introduce VMware vSphere 5.5 for realizing the virtualization of servers in central computer rooms. With the application of library server virtualization in Shandong Normal University as an example, some experience in practical visualization platform application are analyzed and sum up, and some reasonable suggestions in snapshot management, security protection and power measures are put forward
