On Social Stability and Local Governance

当下的中国社会整体上呈现稳定的态势,但是影响社会稳定的因素依然存在,主要表现在:社会阶层不断分化,利益矛盾和纠纷增多;贫富差距日益悬殊,社会群体间流动受阻;就业形势较为严峻,劳动力供求矛盾突出;民众诉求渠道不畅,群体性事件时有发生;暴力案件频发,公众安全受到威胁等。只有创新地方治理的理念与方式,才能从根本上维护社会和谐与稳定。

At present,society as a whole in China presents a stable state,but the factors affecting the stability of the society still exist there.The main factors are：the social classes have been dividing,interests contradiction and conflict has become increasingly highlighted;the gap between rich and poor is increasing,the social mobility is reducing;employment situation is severe,the contradiction of labor force supply and demand is prominent;the channel of people＇s demand is impeded,mass incidents occur frequently;violent terrorist cases happen from time to tome,the people＇s public security is threatened.Only innovating the idea and way of local governance,can we maintain social harmony and stability fundamentally.
