On the Curriculum of Inter-cultural Education for Adults——the Reconstruction of the Curriculum of the English for Adults

全球化及文化多元化的深入推进使跨文化教育的重要性日益显现,成人教育由于自身的特点使其在开展跨文化教育方面具有显著的作用。为顺利推进成人跨文化教育,成人英语课程可以籍由学科上的优势被重构为承载跨文化教育的主要平台,从而彰显自身在成人教育中的影响与地位。

With the further advancing of globalization and cultural diversification, inter-cultural education has been emerging more and more important. Adult education, however, plays the spe- cial role in carrying on inter-cultural education due to the features of its own. In order to carry on inter-cultural education for adults effectively, the curriculum of the English for adults can be re-con- structed to its advantage in subjects into the major platform serving inter-cultural education, which in turn helps lift the influences and status of the English for adults in the adult education.
