A Brief Analysis on the Unique Aesthetic Orientation of Hunting Drums in Huanglong County

黄龙猎鼓属于陕北五鼓之一,表演形式主要是鼓手穿上兽皮,戴上面具,以龙旗为主,两边分列虎、豹、熊、狮。这样的鼓舞艺术有别于其他各地农耕文化的鼓舞艺术,是森林狩猎文化和原始图腾艺术、巫术文化的原始记忆表征。

Huanglong hunting drum belongs to five drums in north Shaanxi, whose performing form mainly include that the drummer will wear fur, put on mask, guided by dragon flags, tigers, leopards, bears and lions lines separately on both sides. Such drum dancing is different from other drum arts of agricultural culture and also is the original memorial characteristic of forest hunting culture, primitive totem arts and witchcraft art.
