英语教学是高职院校教学体系中十分重要的一部分,但是目前其教学内容、教学模式存在着一定的弊端,导致高职学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣,自身学习效率较低,学习质量较差。科学技术正在不断发展,多媒体技术已被应用于各个领域,很多学科的教学因为多媒体技术的介入而得到改变。在一定程度上说,多媒体技术促进了我国的教育改革。高职院校应以多媒体技术为契机,对英语教学进行革新,保证教学的有效性。

English teaching is a very important part of teaching system in higher vocational colleges, but at present, there are cer- tain disadvantages in its teaching content, and teaching mode, which makes the students lack of interest in English learning, their learn- ing efficiency low and learning quality poorer. Science and technology are developing continuously. Multimedia technology has been ap- plied in various fields. Many disciplines＇ teaching has changed because of the involvement of multimedia technology. From a certain extent, multimedia technology has promoted the education reform of our country. Higher vocational colleges should take the opportunity of multi - media technology to innovate English teaching and ensure the effectiveness of teaching.
